The opening of the 24th Swiss Art Supermarket in Solothurn

In Solothurn, the Kunstsupermarkt (Art Supermarket) is a unique and popular art event. Despite some controversy in the art scene, it draws large crowds of around 30,000 visitors annually. It caters to art enthusiasts, collectors, bargain hunters, and those simply looking for an affordable, enjoyable piece of art. The exhibition features artworks in four price categories: 99, 199, 399, and 599 Swiss Francs.

The event will be open daily for nine weeks, from November 10, 2023, to January 14, 2024. All artworks displayed can be purchased at very affordable prices. Starting from the end of November, visitors can also watch artists at work in specially set up studios on weekends.

The 24th Swiss Kunstsupermarkt will take place from November 10, 2023, to January 14, 2024, at the RothusHalle in Solothurn, with the opening vernissage on November 9 at 6 PM. The exhibition is open daily and admission is free.
