Representative GfK Survey: Flexible Working: Women in Germany See Need for Improvement

GoDaddy Inc. (NYSE: GDDY), a global leader in website and domain services, released the latest findings of its “Perspectives on Entrepreneurship” survey, conducted in collaboration with GfK. The survey reveals that the majority in Germany recognize and support the benefits of flexible working models, with 72% believing they offer advantages for both employees and employers. The survey also highlights a positive view of New Work development among the younger population. However, only 37% of the 50-59 age group agrees with this. Notably, higher-income earners and women are more likely to notice employers’ efforts in flexible working, though 26% of women remain skeptical. Nearly half believe models like a four-day work week will become long-term practices in Germany, with significant age group differences in opinion. The survey, conducted in September 2023, involved 1,000 participants aged 18-74 and represents the German-speaking population.
