Record-Breaking! One Billion Impressions for “The Voice” on Social Networks
December 1, 2023. This season of ‘The Voice’ sets records even before the start of the live shows: On social media, ‘The Voice’ hits the magical mark of one billion impressions. On Joyn, the streaming platform of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, the current season far surpasses the last one. And on YouTube, the content is soaring both nationally and internationally.
Tonight, December 1, 2023, starting at 8:15 PM in the semi-finals, the best 13 talents of the #TVOG coaches Shirin David, Ronan Keating, Giovanni Zarrella, and Bill and Tom Kaulitz, as well as #VoiceRap coach Kool Savas, will perform live on SAT.1 for their place in the final.
Plus 112 percent! ‘The Voice’ on Joyn Joyn is thrilled with a significant increase! The contents of ‘The Voice of Germany’ are scoring with 112 percent more video views than in 2022, before the start of the live shows. The first season of ‘The Voice Rap by CUPRA’ on Joyn exceeds expectations by an excellent 66 percent.
The billion mark cracked: ‘The Voice’ on social networks More than one billion impressions are reached by the content of ‘The Voice of Germany’ and ‘The Voice Rap by CUPRA’ even before the start of the live shows on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. That’s 50 percent more than in 2022! Especially TikTok is in #TheVoice fever: The battle ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ between semi-finalist Niclas (Team Bill and Tom) and Alina achieves a tremendous 24 million views. With an average of over one million views per clip – 147 percent more than last year – the content goes viral repeatedly. Currently, the @thevoiceofgermany account has 3.4 million followers, making it the second-largest format account after @thevoicekids.
International and national hit: ‘The Voice’ on YouTube With 58.9 million video views, the #TVOG content is an international hit on YouTube. Compared to 2022, this is an increase of 29 percent. In Germany, the 13th season performs 43 percent stronger than in 2022.
Stable ratings: ‘The Voice’ on ProSieben and SAT.1 On TV, SAT.1 and ProSieben are pleased with consistent ratings throughout the season in all target groups. Among younger viewers (ages 14-49), the music show records a 0.2 percent increase in market share compared to the same period in 2022 (2023: 11.9 percent, 2022: 11.7 percent).
The success story is not over yet: Tonight, SAT.1 will broadcast the semi-finals and next Friday, the final will crown ‘The Voice of Germany’ 2023.
