London Fashion Week September 2023: Anticipated Schedule Released
London Fashion Week (LFW), an unparalleled global stage for sartorial excellence, has finally unveiled its much-anticipated provisional schedule. The captivating event, orchestrated by the British Fashion Council (BFC), is slated to take place from Friday 15th to Tuesday 19th September 2023. This year, the event promises to offer a remarkable digital-physical hybrid experience, marrying creativity, culture, and commerciality.
A Power-Packed Line-Up
Featuring both menswear and womenswear, the LFW schedule teems with talent. From iconic British luxury brand Burberry to innovative newcomers, the roster boasts a who’s who of fashion. Noteworthy participants include ASAI, Dilara Findikoglu, ERDEM, Eudon Choi, FASHION EAST, JW Anderson, KNWLS, palmer//harding, PHOEBE ENGLISH, Richard Quinn, ROKSANDA, Simone Rocha, and many more.
Additionally, 16Arlington, this year’s BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner, makes a return. Alongside, BFC Fashion Trust 2023 recipients Chopova Lowena and Molly Goddard will also grace the event.
New Entrants Stir Excitement
LFW September 2023 has already started creating a buzz with the introduction of new entrants. EIRINN HAYHOW, Holzweiler, PĪFERI (a BFC Fashion Trust 2023 recipient), Spencer Badu, and SRVC are set to make their debut. Fashion enthusiasts eagerly await the final schedule, expected to be released in August 2023.
BFC NEWGEN Celebrates its 30th Anniversary
Coinciding with the LFW September 2023, BFC NEWGEN will be celebrating its 30th anniversary. The organization has an illustrious history of nurturing emerging talent and this year, the focus will be on the scheme’s noteworthy alumni. To commemorate this occasion, an exhibition, REBEL: 30 Years of London Fashion, will open from 16th September 2023 to 11th February 2024 at the Design Museum in London.
LFW Partners with Ukrainian Fashion Week
In a move of global unity, LFW will present three Ukrainian designers: GASANOVA, My Sleeping Gypsy, and NADYA DYZYAK. The ‘Support Ukrainian Fashion’ initiative, launched by Ukrainian Fashion Week, seeks to highlight the creativity and talent of Ukraine’s fashion scene.
Accreditation for LFW Now Open
Accreditation for LFW September 2023 is now available. Fashion industry professionals attending in a work capacity can apply for the same. The public can partake in the LFW City Wide Celebration. This programme consists of various events and activations open to the public throughout LFW.
