Fynn Kliemann is back and has big plans
If life is a roller coaster, then the curves are a bit sharper for Fynn Kliemann. A year after the controversy when he was thrown out of the curve with quite some momentum, he set out on a journey with his best friend Brian to find what comes after the heart-racing thrill. Back to oneself and to the core of Kliemannsland.
– After a seven-month hiatus from YouTube, Fynn and his Kliemannsland are back with a documentary series.
– 4,000 kilometers in a modified vintage stretch limousine, the destination: the most wondrous amusement park in the world, “Ai Pioppi” in Italy.
– In “Road to Bruno – Everything Can Be a Playground,” it’s about rediscovering fun, but also about friendship and healing.
– Smoking brakes & road trip wisdom in cinema quality.
Eight meters long is the modified vintage stretch limousine with two roof tents, which the two well-known YouTube faces started their journey in. In two weeks, they covered almost 4,000 kilometers to discover the most special playground in the world and to fathom the magic of play itself. Bruno, the namesake of the documentary and also the destination on the GPS, is an 80-year-old man who, in the middle of a poplar forest, built something extraordinary: To support his wife’s café business, Bruno started building huge carousels by hand over 50 years ago. Today, “Ai Pioppi” boasts over 40 attractions and is a dream come true for children and adults alike.
“Road to Bruno was also a journey to myself. A massive hammer hit my life. I picked up my pieces and am now building an independent and free Kliemannsland.” – Fynn Kliemann
Accompanied by flashbacks to the toughest time of his life, it’s mainly about inspiration and new momentum: On the way to Bruno, Fynn and Brian learn from impressive quarries, festival grounds, Italian junkyards, and airfields what it takes to create playgrounds for all ages. How do we maintain our inner child? Why are we so drawn to exploring abandoned places? Why does it sometimes only take imagination to have fun? What’s next for Kliemannsland? The answers to these and many other questions are integral parts of the 6-part adventure documentary now on YouTube.
“Playing used to be so simple! A stick became a sword, the old shed a knight’s fortress. As adults, we have forgotten to recognize adventure in the little things.” – Fynn Kliemann
