Copenhagen Fashion Week: Brand line up for SS24
The SS24 edition of CPHFW is set to feature many new features starting with the opening ceremony on Monday afternoon. This new date contributes to the growing interest and participation. In addition, it continues to manage a crowded schedule of presentations, events, exhibition spaces and trade fairs.
Continuing this innovation, the SS24 edition will unveil CPHFW NEWTALENT sponsored by Circulose®. Through this initiative, four companies will gain access to the Talent Support Scheme. When submitted from the past, Latimmier, P.L.N. will participate, along with Niklas Skovgaard and Rolf Ekroth, finalists of the 2022 Wessel & Weitt Fashion Prize. Lastly the new MLGA will have the popular CPHFW NEWTALENT One To Watch location.
Supporting Emerging Talent
The support for emerging talent does not stop there. Brands participating in the CPHFW NEWTALENT supported by Circulose® will receive support for three consecutive seasons. This will include monetary support, mentorships, partnership offerings, professional advisors, access to the official CPHFW show schedule, event participation, showroom activations, alumni network, and extensive PR through CPHFW’s international community and channels. As a result, these brands will get a unique platform to showcase their talent and interact with key industry figures.
Celebrating Creativity and Innovation
The SS24 edition of CPHFW will also feature the inaugural Zalando Vision Awards. The award will go to artists who demonstrate a commitment to creativity, innovation and positive social impact. Paolina Russo got it first. Rousseau and Lucille Gilmard launched their London-based brand in 2021, embracing a vibrant knitwear collection. They blend craft techniques with industrial design and push the boundaries of design by combining heritage and craft technologies.
As an award winner, Paolina Russo will receive a prize of €50,000 and will exhibit her collection at CPHFW in August 2023 if as part of the official exhibition program Zalando will provide financial support for the production of an exhibition, setting the brand’s goal namely, to highlight future collections .
