CallaDevi – the art exhibition about female body
In Zurich, an exciting upcoming art exhibition in the last quarter of 2024 will showcase the collaborative works of emerging artist Timéa Tschannen and renowned photographer Christoph Marti. Although Tschannen is not yet widely known, she has taken the bold step of organizing her first major exhibition, where her vision and Marti’s expertise come together to explore the female body through art.
Tschannen, who also works as a certified car mechanic, brings an unusual combination of precision and sensitivity to her artwork. Her focus has long been on the female form, which she portrays in ways that challenge societal norms and embrace vulnerability. For this exhibition, Tschannen makes the courageous decision to portray herself nude, reflecting a new level of self-expression and vulnerability in her work.
Marti, with his international reputation as a photographer specializing in portraits, fashion, and fine art, contributes his deep understanding of aesthetics and the human form to the exhibition. Known for his timeless black-and-white photography and his ability to build trust with his models, Marti complements Tschannen’s artistic journey, helping to elevate her exploration of femininity and beauty.
The exhibition will present a range of artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, and film. It centers on the theme of revealing oneself and embracing the beauty of the female body as a form of art. Through a carefully selected color palette of black, white, beige, gold, and silver, the works will explore the concept of vulnerability, strength, and the unity of body and soul.
This collaborative effort between the newcomer Timéa Tschannen and the experienced Christoph Marti promises to deliver a profound and immersive experience for visitors. More details regarding the dates and venue will be announced soon. Website of CallaDevi
