TWOJEYS x ZARA

Men’s jewelry start-up brand, TwoJeys, and Zara have joined forces to create a radical capsule collection for every contemporary pleasure-seeking mind. Founded in 2019 by Barcelona-raised spirit-brothers Biel Juste Calduch and Joan Margarit, TwoJeys is a brand whose jewelry and clothing encapsulates a spirit of progressive discovery, fearless exploration, and hedonistic adventure. Thus, the unique collaboration with Zara was born to capture the imagination of fellow travelers across the world.

“TwoJeys is a state of mind,” says Biel: “Joan and I first imagined it during a fever-dream journey down Route 66 in California. Down the road we could never find any jewelry that captured the essence of our life on the highway, so we decided then and there to make it for ourselves.”

The TwoJeys x Zara collection will be centered around the hand-tooled jewelry that is at the core of Joan and Biel’s radical universe. Chains, rings, keyrings and bracelets come accented by the distinctly modern, yet emblematically eternal design language channeled by the TwoJeys founders. Rearing stallions, gambling chips, dice, feathers, cameos and – of course – the brand’s iconic two stars act as meaning-filled moments for every contemporary cowgirl and cowboy.

To complement their core jewelry offer, Joan and Biel have worked closely with the Zara design team to develop a collection of clothing and accessories designed to outfit today’s pioneers. Its symbolism lies at the epoch-spanning intersection of iconic US motor culture and Western equestrian heritage. Garments in knit and jersey are textured, frayed, washed, and weathered to reflect life on the heat-hazed road. Denim stalwart jeans in non-conformist cuts are served in trippily kaleidoscopic smoky sunstar washes and opaque prairie pilgrimage photoprints. Tooled leather belts inlaid with stars or sturdily crafted cowboy buckles hold it all together – just about.

TwoJeys and Zara have hit the highway to shape a campaign that epitomizes its carefree, pleasure-seeking soul. Shot by Glen Luchford and starring Evan Mock and Iris Law, the campaign reflects TwoJey’s central credo – to live life fast, wild, and free. “This collection we’ve made with Zara is about using our lives and our energy to the max. It’s not delicate, it’s not cautious, it’s not shy: life moves at top speed, and so does TwoJeys,” says Joan.

TwoJeys x Zara collection premieres in selected stores and Zara.com on June 3.
